Haridwar

Haridwar is an ancient holy city situated in the banks of river Ganga in the Garhwal region at an elevation of around 314 meters above the sea level.

How to reach Haridwar: Haridwar is at a distance of 220 km from Delhi via NH 334, which is a 5 hrs drive and 204 km from Chandigarh via Nh 344, which is a 4 1/2 hrs drive. The city has a railway station in Purusharthi Market Road, Shikhu Pur, Devpura and the nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport at a distance of around 40 km in Dehradun.
